Tom Morello, the Smashing Pumpkins’ Jimm...

Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell’s annual Lollapalooza festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and the band was at the festival tonight to perform. They brought out Rage Against the Machine (and more recently, Prophets of Rage) guitarist Tom Morello to perform “Mountain Song.” Later in the set, the Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin also appeared to guest on “Jane Says.” Watch it all go down below. Today, Laurie Anderson and Hal Willner’s daylong Lou Reed tribute, “The Bells: A Daylong Celebration of Lou Reed,” kicked off at Lincoln Center in New York City. It started with a tai-chi class led by Reed’s personal instructor, Master Ren GuangYi. Earlier in the day, Lee Ranaldo and Steve Shelley, Jon Spencer, Patti Smith Group’s Lenny Kaye, New York Dolls’ David Johansen and more performed. Beenie Man Not Performing at OVO Fest Du...

Beenie Man was originally scheduled to perform in Toronto today at the second night of Drake‘s OVO Fest 2016, but has announced that he has been denied a Canadian visa due to Zika virus. According to an Instagram post, the dancehall artist is also suffering from dengue fever in addition to the Zika virus. On Ticketmaster, the festival promises “a slew of surprise special guests” in addition to the other headliner, Machel Montano.
