The Weeknd: Starboy [XO/Republic]
Starboy is the Weeknd’s follow-up to 2015’s Beauty Behind the Madness. The album’s title is a tribute to David Bowie’s “Starman.” It features Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, and Future. Watch the videos for the title track and “False Alarm.”

YG: Red Friday [self-released]
After releasing his sophomore album, Still Brazy, earlier this year, YG has a new mixtape that features 21 Savage, RJ, and Mitch. Mica Levi / Oliver Coates: Remain Calm [Slip]
In addition to scoring the upcoming Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis biopic Jackie, Mica Levi (of Micachu and the Shapes) has a new collaborative album with cellist Oliver Coates. Coates worked on Radiohead’s latest record A Moon Shaped Pool.

Dungen: Häxan [Mexican Summer]
Dungen’s new album Häxan was inspired by their work on an original score to Lotte Reiniger’s 1926 film The Adventures of Prince Achmed. The film is believed to be the oldest surviving full-length animated feature film. The record follows 2015’s Allas Sak.

Gucci Mane / Lil Uzi Vert: 1017 vs. the World [self-released]
Gucci Mane keeps working. 1017 vs. the World is his fifth post-prison release, following Everybody Looking, GucTiggy, Woptober, and Free Bricks 2: Zone 6 Edition.
