The Shins: Heartworms [Aural Apothecary/Columbia]
The Shins are back with their first new album since 2012’s Port of Morrow. Watch the videos for the record’s “Dead Alive” and “Name for You.”
Laura Marling: Semper Femina [More Alarming]
Semper Femina is Laura Marling’s sixth album, following 2015’s Short Movie. It was recorded in Los Angeles and produced alongside Blake Mills. Check out the music video for “Soothing” and the lyric video for “Wild Fire.”
Charli XCX: Number 1 Angel [Asylum]
Charli XCX’s Number 1 Angel follows her 2016 EP Vroom Vroom and her 2014 LP Sucker. It’s also her first mixtape since 2012’s Super Ultra. The new tape features MØ, CupcakKe, Abra, Uffie, Starrah, and Raye.
Jay Som: Everybody Works [Polyvinyl]
Jay Som is the moniker of Bay Area artist Melina Duterte. Last year, she put out a collection of her early work called Turn Into. Everybody Works is her proper debut as Jay Som. She wrote, recorded, played, and produced the album. Hurray for the Riff Raff: The Navigator [ATO]

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever: The French Press EP [Sub Pop]
The French Press EP is Melbourne band Rolling Blackouts Coast Fever’s first release for Sub Pop Records. It follows their Talk Tight EP.
