This week’s batch includes new albums from Rae Sremmurd, Of Montreal, Thee Oh Sees, Atmosphere, and PARTYNEXTDOOR, along with soundtracks for the Netflix dramas “Stranger Things” and “The Get Down.”

Kyle Dixon / Michael Stein: Stranger Things, Vol. 1 [Lakeshore/Netflix]

The official soundtrack for the Netflix hit “Stranger Things” is scored by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, who are a part of the Austin band S U R V I V E. The soundtrack is split into two volumes, the second of which will be out digitally August 19.

Rae Sremmurd: Sremmlife 2 [EarDrummers/Interscope]

Rae Sremmurd’s new album is the sequel to last year’s SremmLife. The album features Gucci Mane, Kodak Black, Juicy J, and Lil Jon. It’s led by the singles “By Chance” (and its video), “Look Alive,” and “Do Yoga.”

Of Montreal’s latest album is a follow-up to last year’s Aureate Gloom and Snare Lustrous DoomingsIt’s led by the single “it’s different for girls.” Watch the song’s video.

Thee Oh Sees: A Weird Exits [Castle Face]

Thee Oh Sees’ A Weird Exits follows the recently released live album Live in San Francisco and last year’s Mutilator Defeated at Last. It’s the first studio album where John Dwyer is accompanied by drummers Ryan Moutinho and Dan Rincon as well as bassist Tim Hellman. The album is preceded by the track “Plastic Plant.”

Atmosphere: Fishing Blues [Rhymesayers]

Atmosphere’s new album is their first release since 2014’s SouthsidersThe album features guest spots from DOOM, Aesop Rock, Kool Keith, the Grouch, and more. It’s led by the single “Ringo” (and its video) and the video for the track “Pure Evil.”

As the title suggests, PARTYNEXTDOOR 3 (P3) is the Toronto singer’s follow-up to 2014’s TWO and his 2013 self-titled debutP3 includes the Drake-featuring lead single “Come and See Me.” (Erykah Badu has remixed the song.)

Various Artists: The Get Down OST [RCA]

The soundtrack for the Baz Luhrmann-helmed Netflix drama “The Get Down” features Nas, Miguel (“Cadillac”), Janelle Monáe (“Hum Along & Dance (Gotta Get Down)”), Christina Aguilera, Zayn, Michael Kiwanuka, Leon Bridges, Jaden Smith, Raury, Grandmaster Flash, Malay, Nile Rodgers, and more. Nas executive produced the soundtrack, with Grandmaster Flash serving as associate producer.
