Animal Collective: The Painters EP [Domino]
Last year, Animal Collective released their album Painting With. Their EP is a companion to that project. It features three new songs recorded around the same time as the 2016 LP and a cover of Martha and the Vandellas’ “Jimmy Mack.” The Painters EP includes the previously shared opening track “Kinda Bonkers.”

Jens Lekman: Life Will See You Now [Secretly Canadian]
The new Jens Lekman record is his first since 2012’s I Know What Love Isn’t. Life Will See You Now features “What’s That Perfume That You Wear?” and “Evening Prayer.”

Ryan Adams: Prisoner [Pax Am/Blue Note]
After releasing 1989, a song-for-song remake of Taylor Swift’s album of the same name, Ryan Adams is back with a new album. It’s his first full-length album with new music since 2014’s Ryan Adams. The album includes the previously shared songs “Doomsday,” “Do You Still Love Me?,” and “To Be Without You.”
