Adele Does Nicki Minaj’s "Monster" Verse, Sings Spice Girls in a Car With James Corden

Sometimes on ”The Late Late Show,” James Corden drives around with extremely famous singers for a segment called “Carpool Karaoke.” This time, he was joined by Adele. Awesomely, she performed Nicki Minaj’s verse from Kanye West’s “Monster.” Skip straight to the 10:30 mark to watch that happen. Update (1/14 8:50 a.m.): Nicki Minaj has tweeted a response to the performance.

Adele also sang her hits (“Hello,” “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” “All I Ask”), plus the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe.” They also chat for a while, talking about the names of her future albums, her drumming prowess, her hypothetical squad with Beyoncé, and how Geri Halliwell broke her heart.
