Adele Rejects Super Bowl Halftime Show Offer

Last night during a performance at the Staples Center in L.A., Adele addressed recent rumors that she was going to perform at next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. She also addressed recent pregnancy rumors. “Of course I’m not pregnant. They thought I was going to announce it at the Super Bowl.” She continued, telling the crowd: “First of all, I’d like to tell you I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I mean, come on. That show is not about music, and I don’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no.”

Adele said she’d be open to the possibility in the future. “Maybe next time, in my next album. I’m going to do a dance album next time. So, maybe I’d do it then.” She concluded her address to the crowd, putting a rest to the gossip: “Fucking stupid rumors.” Check out footage below via The Hollywood Reporter.
