Adele's New Album Reportedly Due in November, Features a Song by Tobias Jesso Jr.

Adele‘s forthcoming record, the follow-up to 2011′s 21, is being aimed for a November release, Billboard reports. The untitled record, which is rumored to be called 25, features a song written by Tobias Jesso Jr. In addition to Jesso, Swedish pop impresario Max Martin, Danger Mouse, and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder (who co-wrote 21‘s “Rumour Has It”) have also worked on the record, according to Billboard.

It’s worth pointing out that while Adele has only tweeted seven times in 2015, one of those was an endorsement of Jesso’s “How Could You Babe”. Jesso later told Billboard, “Since my first interview, I’ve been saying how much Adele’s music meant to me.”

In our Guest List interview with Jesso, he said Adele would be his dream collaboration. “I haven’t met her but she tweeted the video for ‘How Could You, Babe’,” he said. “When I saw she did that, my hands got a little shaky and then I ran around my house like a 14-year-old girl. The video shot up at least 30,000 hits; I was used to getting 200 a year ago. If we ever did a duet of one of her songs, I’d take the verse, because there’s no way I’d sing one of those choruses. It would just be disrespectful to anyone listening.”
