Air's Nicolas Godin Teams With Thomas Mars of Phoenix for "Widerstehe doch der Sünde"

Last month, Air shared an unreleased version of their track “Playground Love”, a song Thomas Mars of Phoenix originally co-wrote, sang, and played drums on under the pseudonym Gordon Tracks. Now, as French blog Magic points out, Mars has revived Gordon Tracks to sing on “Widerstehe doch der Sünde”, a new track by Air’s Nicolas Godin. Watch the dreamy, Sacred Egg-directed video (produced by Riff Raff Films), and hear Mars’ German vocals, below.

Contrepoint, Godin’s debut solo album, comes out September 18. Each song is inspired by a Bach composition. According to Rolling Stone Germany, “Widerstehe doch der Sünde” also features vocals from Dorothée de Koon, who, like Thomas Mars, is of German descent.
