Animal Collective, Best Coast, Wavves, Kurt Vile, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, More to Host Voter Registration Drives
HeadCount is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that works with musicians to improve voter turnout in American elections. They will be holding voter registration drives at various concerts in the months leading up to the 2016 Presidential election.
As Rolling Stone reports, HeadCount have added Animal Collective, Best Coast, Wavves, Kurt Vile, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Lucius, and Jason Isbell to their list of touring partners. They join Jay Z, Wilco, St. Vincent, Spoon, the Shins, the National, Pearl Jam, My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie, and MGMT, just to name a few.
