Anohni Displaying Original Art in "Anohni: My Truth" Exhibit

Anohni‘s excellent new album HOPELESSNESS was released yesterday, but that’s not the only thing Anohni has been up to. From July 23 to October 16, the Kunsthalle Bielefeld—a contemporary art museum in Bielefeld, Germany—will host the exhibit “Anohni: My Truth.” The show will feature original artwork by Anohni including “collages made out of found pieces” and encaustic (hot wax) paintings. She also curated an exhibit with works by photographer Peter Hujar, artist James Elaine, and Japanese Butoh dancer Kazuo Ono. Find more info here, and read Anohni’s 2007 essay about Hujar.
