Aphex Twin Set for Field Day London 2017

Aphex Twin Set for Field Day London 2017

Aphex Twin live appearances don’t happen often, but it seems like Richard D. James is steadily booking more shows. He plays Houston’s Day for Night festival on December 17—his first U.S. appearance in eight years. Next year, it looks like he’s performing at Field Day London, which happens on June 3 in Victoria Park. The festival confirmed the news with an Aphex Twin teaser clip on their social platforms—find it below. The festival’s official website, currently, is just Aphex Twin’s logo.

Earlier this year, Aphex Twin released a new EP called Cheetah. It followed three recent releases: his LP Syro, the Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments pt2 EP, and the Orphaned Deejay Selek (2006-2008) EP. Recently, µ-Ziq (aka Mike Paradinas) reissued his album with Aphex Twin, Expert Knob Twiddlers.
