Apple Discontinues iPod Classic

Today, Apple announced the iPhone 6 and revealed the upcoming Apple Watch. But when they updated their website, one of their products was missing. Hidden behind the good news was the quiet death of the iPod Classic, Engadget reports.

This means, of course, that there’s no longer a digital music player with the classic click wheel. Perhaps most notably, Apple no longer offers an iPod with a storage capacity above 64GB. The iPod Classic could store up to 160GB.
