Ariana Grande After Manchester Concert Bombing: “I Don’t Have Words”

Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena in England tonight ended in tragedy when a suicide bomber detonated an explosion in the venue’s entrance hall as the concert let out, killing 22 people and wounding 59 others . Following the sound of a loud blast, concertgoers ran screaming from the venue in a panic. Police referred to the attack as “a terrorist incident.” A representative confirmed that Grande herself wasn’t hurt, and now, the singer has shared a brief statement on Twitter. “broken,” she wrote. “from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”

Grande’s manager Scooter Braun also shared a statement. “Tonight, our hearts are broken,” he wrote. “Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack. We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act.”
