At Least 16 Dead at K-Pop Concert in South Korea
An accident at a K-Pop concert today in Seongnam, a suburb of Seoul, South Korea resulted in the death of at least 16 people, according to the Associated Press. The concertgoers were standing on top of a ventilation grate that collapsed and they fell 20 meters into the parking lot below. The AP reports that 11 more were injured.
The concert had gathered a crowd of about 700. The artist performing at the time of the accident was girl group 4Minute.
