Azealia Banks Previews New Tracks, Hints One Was Written for Rihanna: Listen

Azealia Banks took to Periscope last night to preview several tracks from unreleased projects. Banks hinted that one unreleased track, which she didn’t name, was recorded for Rihanna. “You wanna hear one of the songs I did for, what’s this bitch, antioxidant?” she said, a term she’s used in the past seemingly to refer to Rihanna’s ANTI-. (Banks retweeted a Soundcloud link to the track tagged “Rihanna demo snippet.”) Another track is taken from Business and Pleasure, the project scheduled to come out after her forthcoming Fantasea II mixtape. Banks also explained that forthcoming projects, including her “The Big Big Beat” video and a wider release of Slay-Z, have been delayed because she’s about to sign a new distribution deal. Asked for a timeline of future projects, she added that she’ll release Fantasea II after a summer tour, with Business and Pleasure following the next fall or winter.
