Beck and Karen O to Honor Lou Reed, Miley Cyrus to Induct Joan Jett at Rock Hall Ceremony

Lou ReedGreen Day, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bill Withers, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band are the newest inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now, Beck, Karen O, Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, fun.’s Nate Ruess, Gary Clark Jr., Miley Cyrus, John Legend, and more have been announced as participants at the induction ceremony, which takes place April 18 at Public Hall in Cleveland.

Beck, Karen O, and Ruess will perform a tribute to Reed. Legend will perform for Withers, while Clark Jr. and John Mayer will perform for Stevie Ray Vaughan. Cyrus will induct Joan Jett & the Blackhearts. Morello will perform with Zac Brown in place of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. 

They join previously announced participants such as Paul McCartney (introducing Ringo Starr, who’s been given the Award of Excellence), Stevie Wonder (inducting Withers), Fall Out Boy (inducting Green Day), and Patti Smith (inducting Reed). 

Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, and Jimmie Vaughan will also perform.

The ceremony will air on HBO on May 30.
