Beck has joined the lineup for Doug Aitken’s Station to Station project at London Barbican, and he’ll be accompanied by Thurston Moore. At the event, billed as “an evening of music, poetry and visual arts,” Beck and a musical ensemble featuring Moore will accompany poetry readings by Simon Armitage, Don Paterson, and more, with Aitken projecting a video backdrop. The performance takes place on June 29 in the Barbican Hall.

Beck and Aitken’s creative partnership includes Aitken’s The Source project, Beck’s cover of “I Only Have Eyes for You” for Aitken’s Song 1 installation, and the 2013 U.S. leg of Station to Station, where Moore also performed. Moore and Beck also hooked up on Moore’s Beck-produced solo album, Demolished Thoughts.

Elsewhere on the lineup, musicians including Savages, EMA, and Micachu will perform and collaborate with installation artists to help create a 30-day “living art project.”
