Bell Biv DeVoe Return With “Run,” First New Track in 15 Years: Watch

Bell Biv DeVoe, the new jack swing trio that branched off from New Edition and are responsible for the all-time classic “Poison,” haven’t put out music since their 2001 album BBD. Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe returned today with a music video for a brand new song called “Run.” It’s directed by Lionel C. Martin, who also directed their “Poison” video. The Erick Sermon-produced track features the same sample from Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize”—Herb Alpert’s “Rise.” Check out the video below.

“Run” will appear on Three Stripes =, the trio’s new album that’s set to arrive January 27, Entertainment Weekly reports. Bell Biv DeVoe are also working on a new three-part BET original miniseries, “The New Edition Story,” which is out next year.
