The Republican National Convention is this week in Cleveland. Tonight, Donald Trump is expected to officially accept the nomination as the Republican nominee for president. To open the night, the RNC had 6-year-old singer and America’s Got Talent contestant Heavenly Joy on stage to perform “Let There Be Peace on Earth” and “America the Beautiful.” Heavenly Joy is the daughter of super-producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, who is known for his work on hits like “You Rock My World” by Michael Jackson, “Say My Name” by Destiny’s Child, and “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” by Whitney Houston.
