Björk Announces London Virtual Reality Exhibition

Last month, Björk brought her virtual reality exhibition called Björk Digital to Tokyo. Today, she has announced that she is taking the project to the UK. The exhibition will be at Somerset House in London from September 1 until October 23. In addition, Björk has announced her first live of show of 2016. It’s at London’s Royal Albert Hall on September 21. See a poster for the shows below.

Björk Digital includes the Icelandic artist’s various VR and interactive videos, such as the “Stonemilker” video, the Black Lake film (both collaborations with Andrew Thomas Huang), her “Mouth Mantra” video, and a VR video for “Notget,” which “presents Björk as a digital moth giantess transformed by stunning masks created by artist James Merry.” (Those masks are available as part of an upcoming Vulnicura Live “Luxury Boxset.”)
