Björk Releases "Stonemilker" Virtual Reality App

Earlier this year, Björk shared the 360° virtual reality video for “Stonemilker”, from the excellent Vulnicura. Originally, the video could only be seen in-person, when it was exhibited in NYC and London. Later, it became available online. Today, she’s debuted the “Stonemilker” virtual reality app, which allows users to explore the video through a virtual reality headset. It’s available for iOS; you can check it out here.

The video was directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, who also directed “Black Lake” and the moving album cover featuring “Family”). It was produced by Vrse.works, while the special effects were handled by Digital Domain. The app was put together by Third Space Agency, Rewind, and 2 Big Ears.
