Black Lips Announce New Album Satan’s graffiti or God’s art?, Share New Song: Listen

Black Lips have announced a new album. The follow-up to 2014’s Underneath the Rainbow is called Satan’s graffiti or God’s art?, and it’s out May 5 via Vice Records. Cole Alexander and Jared Swilley recorded the album with former guitarist Jack Hines and new members Oakley Munson (drums) and Zumi Rosow (saxophone). The album, produced by Sean Lennon, features contributions from Yoko Ono and Fat White Family’s Saul Adamczewski. Find the tracklist and artwork below, along with the album’s first offering, “Can’t Hold On.” Black Lips will also tour in support of the album.

Black Lips and Sean Lennon have been in the studio teasing new music together since last April. The Atlanta garage punks have worked with Lennon before—an Instagram post from last year shows frontman Cole Alexander tracking guitar for Fat White Family at Lennon’s home studio.
