Blood Orange to Stream First Full Freetown Sound Performance on Tidal
Next week, Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) will begin his “Welcome to Freetown” shows behind his new album Freetown Sound. The first show takes place Wednesday, August 24 at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, and it will be livestreamed on Tidal. Hynes has said that, at the concert, he will perform Freetown Sound in full for the first time.
The performance comes as Freetown Sound will see physical release via Domino on Friday, August 19. The Tidal livestream begins at 9:30 p.m. Pacific, and will be available to Tidal subscribers and non-subscribers alike. Catch it here. See a poster for the event below.
