Blur Announce Comic Travel To Hong Kong With Blur

Blur‘s newest album, The Magic Whip, takes much of its inspiration from Hong Kong, as its music videos and associated interviews attest. The latest project to stem from this aesthetic is Travel to Hong Kong With Blur, a comic developed by KongKee, an artist with the Hong-Kong-based studio, Penguin Lab. Set in a futuristic version of the city, the comic whisks the band away to a fantastical world where nostalgia and progress collide. It’ll be available on Blur’s webstore - as well as at their concerts – beginning June 12. Below, take a behind-the-scenes at the comic’s creation with KongKee.
