Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Angel Olsen Announce Mekons Tribute Album

In 2012, Bonnie “Prince” Billy and his band covered Mekons songs during their shows. That band—Angel Olsen, Emmett Kelly (the Cairo Gang), Ben Boye, Van Campbell, Danny Kiely—have recorded a Mekons covers album under the name Chivalrous Amoekons. Fanatic Voyage is out September 16 via Sea Note. The album will benefit Roots of Music in New Orleans. Check out the album’s artwork and tracklist below.
