Burial to Release Remix of Goldie’s “Inner City Life”

Burial has remixed Goldie’s 1995 track “Inner City Life” for a new single due April 22, for Record Store Day, Resident Advisor reports. Goldie will release the 12” on his label, Metalheadz, with his own “2017 Rebuild” on the B-side. Talking about the remix, he reportedly told Gilles Peterson in 2015 that his “friends don’t get it, but I get it completely,” according to RA. The record precedes Goldie’s new album, The Journey Man (out June 16), and his memoir, All Things Remembered, out November 2. Burial last emerged last November with the Young Death/Nightmarket 12”.
