Candy Claws, Apples in Stereo, the Drums Team for New Project Sound of Ceres

Karen Hover and Ryan Hover of Candy Claws have teamed up the Apples in Stereo‘s Robert Schneider, Ben Phelan, and John Ferguson, plus Jacob Graham of the Drums, for a new project called Sound of Ceres. The band will release their debut album Nostalgia for Infinity later this year. Today, they’ve shared a new video for “Bryn Marina”, off of the forthcoming release. Directed by David Jude Harris, the time-lapse video focuses on an array of animal-shaped “grow in water” toys unfurling into their full shape underwater. According to a press release, the video took over a year to make.

Sound of Ceres have a tour in the works. Currently, their only scheduled shows are April 24 at Hodi’s Half Note in Fort Collins, Colorado, and April 25 at Middle of the Map Fest in Kansas City.
