Caribou Releases Live Album Featuring Four Tet

A few years ago, Caribou toured with a big live band that he called the Caribou Vibration Ensemble. In 2010, they released a live album. Now, Dan Snaith has released another one.

CVE Live 2011 is out now Bandcamp. The release features live recordings from 2011 shows in London and Ghent, Belgium. The band includes Four Tet’s Kieran Hebden, Sinkane’s Ahmed Gallab, James Holden, Enon/Braniac’s John Schmersal, and more.

A limited LP version will hit select stores today. All proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit Gendered Intelligence, in memory of the late sound engineer Julia Brightly. Listen to the album above.

Snaith has also posted a video from Caribou Vibration Ensemble’s 2011 tour, a performance from ATP featuring Sun Ra Arkestra’s Marshall Allen. Watch that below.
