Chance the Rapper and Donald Glover in TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People List

TIME Magazine recently unveiled its 2017 list of the 100 most influential people in the world, and it features several musicians, including Chance the Rapper, Donald Glover, and Riz Ahmed (aka Riz MC, member of Swet Shop Boys). Chance’s blurb was written by fellow Chicagoan and rapper Common, while Tina Fey, Glover’s former co-worker on “30 Rock,” penned his blurb. Ahmed’s writeup was contributed by Lin Manuel-Miranda. Other noteworthy parts of the list include Alicia Keys and DJ Khaled, the latter of whom is not on the list itself but wrote the blurb for Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel.
