Chance the Rapper Declares War on Bootleggers

Chance the Rapper is taking a hard line against merchandise bootleggers. The rapper and his touring company have filed a a lawsuit in an Illinois district court against yet-to-be-named entities (“JOHN DOES 1-100, individuals, JANE DOES 1-100, individuals, and XYZ COMPANY) in preparation of his next big tour outing. Chance is essentially asserting a preemptive claim for “injunctive and monetary relief” against anyone that might try to sell unauthorized Chance the Rapper merchandise.
