Chance the Rapper Hints at Kanye Collab, Performs "Sunday Candy" and "Paranoia" on "Windy City Live"

Chance the Rapper is in a band called the Social Experiment, which features Chance, Donnie Trumpet (the alias of Nico Segal), Peter “Cottontale” Wilkins, Nate Fox, and Greg “Stix” Landfair Jr. In May, they released the excellent Surf as Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment. Today, the Chicago group dropped by “Windy City Live” to play “Sunday Candy” from the record, as well as “Paranoia” from Chance’s Acid Rap. In an interview conducted before the performance, the show’s hosts managed to coax a little information out of Chance regarding a potential collaboration with Kanye West, who recently shouted him out at a show. “Me and Kanye and a lot of Chicago artists are working on a collaborative effort that will be released tentatively,” Chance said.

He also teased his festival-closing set at Pitchfork Music Festival, which takes place this Sunday. “We have a lot of cool, special surprises in store,” he said.
