Chance the Rapper Teases Death Cab for Cutie Collaboration

Chance the Rapper was not scheduled to play Bonnaroo this past weekend, but he spent a lot of time around the Manchester, Tennessee festival grounds. On Friday night, he showed up during J. Cole and Bryson Tiller’s respective performances—both times, he did “No Problem.” On Saturday, he joined both Miguel and Macklemore’s performances. During Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ set, Chance performed their This Unruly Mess I’ve Made collaboration “Need to Know.” Meanwhile, he and Miguel covered the Notorious B.I.G. classic “Juicy.” It turns out Chance also hung out behind the scenes with one of his favorite bands: Death Cab for Cutie. Death Cab’s Dave Depper took several photos and videos with Chance, documenting their time together. He captioned one photo, “Chance the Rapper: incredibly nice dude, and huge Death Cab fan. Who knew?” Later, a fan asked Chance on Twitter if he was going to collaborate with the band, to which he responded: “Big 10-4.” See Chance and the guys from Death Cab have some fun together below, via NME.
