Chance the Rapper to Perform at White House Christmas Tree Lighting

Chance the Rapper has been announced to perform at this year’s annual National Christmas Tree Lighting at the White House on December 1. Kelly Clarkson and gospel singer Yolanda Adams are also slated to perform. A free ticket lottery for the general public begins on October 7; find more information here. President Barack Obama selected Chance’s song “Acid Rain” (off of 2013’s excellent Acid Rap) for his second annual summer playlist this year.
