Charles Bradley Discusses Mother’s Death, Performs on “The Strombo Show”: Watch

Last night, George Stroumboulopoulos kicked off the new season of “The Strombo Show” on CBC Radio 2. His first guest was soul singer Charles Bradley, who was recently forced to cancel a tour after being diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. Bradley discussed reconnecting with his mother before her death, how Ozzy Osbourne wrote him a letter after hearing his cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes,” and more. He also performed songs from Changes, including the titular cover.
