Chief Keef will reportedly perform via hologram for a tribute concert held to memorialize a toddler who was killed by a car fleeing the scene of rapper Capo’s fatal shooting in Chicago yesterday, Billboard reports. Capo, whose real name was Marvin Carr, was shot and killed on July 11. A half hour later, the car driven by the suspect hit 1-year-old Dillan Harris, who was pronounced dead on the scene, according to The Chicago Tribune.

Chief Keef’s concert will be a free event held in Chicago on Friday, July 17. Attendees are encouraged to make donations to support Harris’ family, as Chief Keef wanted to do something to address the “out of control situation.”

According to Billboard, Chief Keef plans to attend the show via hologram from a soundstage in Beverly Hills, California. He currently lives in the Los Angeles area, and he reportedly cannot be in Chicago on Friday due to outstanding warrants.

In addition to organizing the benefit concert, The Chicago Tribune reports that Chief Keef has also formed the Stop the Violence Now Foundation, which aims to address neighborhood crime in Chicago.
