Chromatics and Johnny Jewel Join the New “Twin Peaks”

David Lynch’s cult hit TV show “Twin Peaksreturns on May 21. Last year, a list of possible cast members was posted on the show’s Facebook page. Among the names were Trent Reznor, Sky Ferreira, Eddie Vedder, and Chromatics’ Ruth Radelet. Today, Echo Park Records has confirmed that Chromatics and Johnny Jewel are involved with the show. No further details have been provided. Below, see a new image, which features Laura Palmer’s photograph on top of shattered vinyl records for Chromatics’ long-awaited Dear Tommy.

There is still no word on a release date for Dear Tommy—the follow-up to 2012’s Kill for Love. So far, the band have shared the title track, “I Can Never Be Myself When You’re Around,” “Just Like You,” “In Films,” and “Shadow,” all of which were included on the Dear Tommy tracklist as of December 2014.

The first new episode of the “Twin Peaks” reboot airs on May 21 at 9 p.m. on Showtime. Before then, Showtime hosts a two-day “Twin Peaks” experience at SXSW. It features musical performances (by Neko Case, Real Estate, Tame Impala’s Cameron Avery, and more), a Double R Diner pop-up shop, and more. Check out new “Twin Peaks” posters here.
