The Avalanches gave their first U.S. performance in a decade and a half last night at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA. The last time the Australian electronic outfit performed in the States was at Summerstage in New York City in 2002. Yesterday, they played cuts from their most recent album Wildflower, including “Frankie Sinatra,” as well as songs such as “Radio” from their iconic debut, Since I Left You. Check out snippets from the set below. Revisit Pitchfork’s feature on the band, “The Avalanches: The Snow Must Go On.”
The Avalanches are performing at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival. Get tickets to their Sunday performance here.
