Conor Oberst Shares "Common Knowledge" Video

Following the video for “You Are Your Mother’s Child”, Conor Oberst has shared another video to accompany this year’s Upside Down Mountain. This one is for “Common Knowledge”, and it’s meant to complement the first video he released for the record, “Zigzagging Toward the Light”.

The black-and-white clip finds Oberst hanging out at an apartment while a mysterious voice asks him big life questions—about regrets, having children, etc. He then walks around, lost in thought, smoking cigarettes, reading books, and cutting his own hair. Keep your eyes peeled for a couple quick cameos by his former Desaparecidos tourmates, the So So Glos.

In other news, Oberst has announced that on Record Store Day’s Black Friday event (November 28), he’ll release a single featuring unreleased tracks “Standing on the Outside” and “Sugar Street”.
