Miley Cyrus and the Flaming Lips recently announced a tour in support of their collaborative album Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz. Today, Dan Deacon has revealed that he’ll be the opening act. Find the dates, as well as Deacon’s solo stops, below.

Says Deacon of the tour:

I felt like I was in the ‘Phantom Tollbooth’ when the offer to open the Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz tour came in, but I have a pretty weird life and tend to end up in really bizarre situations that I never in a million years would have pictured. I think it’s safe to say without any doubt that the experience of touring with Miley and the Flaming Lips will be one of the most reality-curving events of my career thus far. Mostly I’m really looking forward to introducing my music and performance to her fans and to watch this show unfold each night.”

Strangely enough, the tour isn’t Deacon’s first foray into the world of Cyrus. He actually remixed her hit “We Can’t Stop” in 2013 by literally cutting out half of the song. Listen to it below.
