Devonté Hynes Scores Short Film Documenting New York-Based Ferguson Protest

Aaron Stewart-Ahn directed a short film—an “ambient portrait”—which documents a New York City protest for Ferguson on November 25. The score is a solo piano improvisation performed by Blood Orange‘s Devonté Hynes, which he performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Watch it below.

The film is dedicated to Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, Tamir Rice, Ramarley Graham, Oscar Grant, Kimani Gray, and Trayvon Martin.
