Dirty Projectors Release New Album 3 Days Early: Listen

Dirty Projectors have released their new self-titled album, Dirty Projectors, three days ahead of schedule. In a tweet, David Longstreth said, “Been 4 years, 7 months & 11 days— long enough! 3 days early, preorders are in the mail & the album in stores. Dirty Projectors is out today.” It’s now available on Apple Music and Spotify, and a play-through of the album’s vinyl was live streamed on the Dirty Projectors Facebook page earlier today. Check that out below. Longstreth previously released videos for singles “Cool Your Heart,” “Little Bubble,” and “Keep Your Name.”

Longstreth celebrated the album’s release by hand-delivering it to a super-fan named Rozette earlier today. According to a rep for the band, she was chosen from the pre-orders; find a photo of her and Longstreth below.
