Drake Postpones Shows Due to Injury

Drake has been forced to postpone three upcoming shows on the Summer Sixteen Tour (with Future), after suffering an ankle injury. In a letter on the October’s Very Own blog, he writes that is “under doctor’s orders,” and must reschedule “the intense three shows in a row in cities which have only ever shown [him] unconditional support.” Those shows, he writes, are in Toronto, Philadelphia, and Newark. Those tour dates, however, are not consecutive, and he does not clarify which dates are postponed. Prior to his announcement, Drake was scheduled to play two shows in Toronto and two in Brooklyn before going to Philadelphia then Newark (for two shows).

Pitchfork has reached out to Drake’s representatives for clarification on the postponement. Read Drake’s note here, and see his previously planned tour dates below.
