Eagles of Death Metal Return to Paris, Perform Rare Set With Josh Homme

Months after the Le Bataclan terror attackEagles of Death Metal returned to Paris tonight. Their rare performance with Josh Homme on drums included a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Brown Sugar.” At the end of the show, Homme and Jesse Hughes embraced. Survivors from the November attack were given free invitations to the show. Heavy security and 30 psychologists were on hand for the concert, The Guardian reports. Last night, the band reportedly spent time playing darts and dancing with survivors. “It was beautiful,” Homme told CNN. Watch an excerpt from that interview below.

In an interview with a French television network before the show, Hughes summed up his opinions on gun control, saying “until nobody has guns, everybody has to have them.”
