Eagles of Death Metal have made their return to the stage, joining U2 to close their set at Paris’ AccorHotels Arena tonight. It was their first time performing since the November 13 attacks. Eagles of Death Metal and U2 performed a cover of Patti Smith’s “People Have the Power” together, before Jesse Hughes and company took the reins to do “I Love You All the Time”. (Josh Homme wasn’t there.) Watch the full performance here, starting at the 32-minute mark, and more below.

“They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago. We would like to offer them ours tonight,” Bono announced while introducing EODM.

U2 were originally scheduled to perform in November, but rescheduled to last night and tonight following the attacks. Eagles of Death Metal were rumored to play last night. Instead, U2 brought out Patti Smith and played “Gloria” and “People Have the Power” in tribute to the victims of the attacks.

The full U2 concert will air tonight on HBO.
