Elliott Smith Demos Featured in No. 2's No Memory Vinyl Reissue

After Elliott Smith and Neil Gust’s band Heatmiser broke up, Gust started another band called No. 2. The band’s out-of-print 1999 debut album No Memory is getting its first-ever vinyl release on Record Store Day (April 18), and it features a series of unheard bonus tracks that feature Smith.

The remastered 180-gram vinyl release comes with eight total previously unheard bonus tracks as mp3s. Four of them are home-recorded demos featuring Smith. The album’s reissue is limited to 1,500 copies.

Watch a promo for the reissue below featuring footage of Elliott Smith wearing underwear over his pants.
