Eminem Selling Bricks From His Childhood Home

Eminem Selling Bricks From His Childhood Home

Today is the 16th anniversary of The Marshall Mathers LP, and to mark the occasion, Eminem is selling off the bricks of his childhood home. The house, featured on the cover of 2000 LP and its 2013 sequel, was destroyed in 2013 due to structural safety issues. The 700 bricks come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity with Eminem’s handwritten signature. Each brick also comes with a display stand, a plaque, and a cassette reissue of the album. The stand-alone cassette, plus dog tags made from salvaged wood from his childhood home, are also available. A portion of the proceeds are going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which provides funds for organizations working with at-risk youth in Eminem’s home state of Michigan and throughout the U.S.
