Empress Of Shares "How Do You Do It" Video, Covers Katy Perry’s "Hot N Cold"

Empress Of, aka Lorely Rodriguez, will release her debut album Me on September 11 via Terrible. Today, she shared the music video for “How Do You Do It”, which she says is a video that captures the life of a touring musician.

“On tour, I spend 23 hours of my day driving, flying, shaving my legs in gross venue bathrooms, sleeping on floors or in motels…to get to that one hour of bliss on stage,” she said in a statement of the Molly Hawkins-directed video. “I wanted to make a video about this other side of being an artist.”

She also recorded Rookie’s August theme song—a cover of Katy Perry‘s “Hot N Cold”. Listen to that above.
