Ex Hex Perform "Don’t Wanna Lose", "Waterfall", "Waste Your Time", Get Interviewed at Primavera

Ex Hex, the trio fronted by Mary Timony (Helium, Wild Flag, Autoclave), were performers at this year’s NOS Primavera Sound Festival in Portugal. In an interview with Pitchfork.tv, they discussed life on the road (“We’re less like vampires on this one”), overcoming angst (“I was coming out of this phase of, ‘I don’t have anything to be angry about anymore’”), and the band’s songwriting process (“We didn’t wanna sound exactly like Rick Springfield, but…”).

The video also features performances of Rips tracks ”Don’t Wanna Lose”, “Waterfall”, and “Waste Your Time”.
