Fabric Throwing Benefit Concert, Art Exhibition

Fabric Throwing Benefit Concert, Art Exhibition

Last month, London nightclub Fabric was shut down after their license was revoked by the Islington Council. In the time since, the club started the #saveourculture campaign to help fund an appeal of the council’s decision. The appeal is scheduled for next month, and the campaign is still accepting donations. In the last few weeks, there have been a number of creative fundraising strategies, including an area man’s 24-hour dance marathon. The latest benefit for the #saveourculture campaign is an art exhibition and concert at London’s House of Vans, which will feature the work of Fabric’s regular rotation of club photographers, according to Thump

Photographs from Sarah Ginn, Nick Ensing, Danny Seaton, Anna Mills, Emilie Pria, and more will be on display and available for purchase at the House of Vans gallery space. The exhibition will run from October 21-23.

On the opening night, Sir Spyro, DJ Hype, IC3, Ed Rush Optical, Logan Sama, the Blast DJs, Capo Lee/Discarda, and unannounced special guests will deliver performances in homage to Fabric’s classic FABRICLIVE parties. All proceeds from the art exhibition and concert will be donated to the#saveourculture campaign. Find a poster for the event below. You can purchase tickets here
